Hotels Carmignano

Carmignano stretches on the northern Montalbano hillside, in the center of an area located between the cities of Florence, Prato and Pistoia and it is one of the most famous zones of excellent wine and genuine olive oil production in Tuscany.

Well renowned in Carmignano is the hamlet of Artimino, located on a charming hilltop dominated by the imposing splendid Villa Medicea "La Ferdinanda" the country dwelling of the Medici family also called the Villa of the one hundred chimneys. A part of the underground accommodates the Etruscan Archaeological Museum where the foundings in the Carmignano area are conserved. Set aside the Mannor there is the Paggeria Medicea, currently a lovely hotel that offers one of the most beautiful landscape in Tuscany amid a hillside with olive groves, cypresses allée, pine trees and vineyards.
