A renown thermal locality in the Valdinievole, Monsummano is set 13 km into the south-west of Pistoia and it boasts two thermal coves, ideal  for the sudatory cures: the Grotta Giusti  that it is placed at 300 meters in the hill and the Grotta Parlanti that it belongs to a hotel.

Also the medieval village of Monsummano Alto, encircled by the town-wall buildings, it deserves a visit to the house of the famous Italian writer Giusti, which nowadays it accommodates its Museum.

Monsummano Terme is a small city in direct contact with nature and art, in the Valdinievole which is an ideal position set at a short distance from the most important city of art in Tuscany, as Florence, Pisa, Siena and Lucca, and it also offers a wide range of excursions in the less famous localities of this region but equally true and in tone with a vacation always set up on relax and distension, as: Montecatini Alto, Massa e Cozzile, Buggiano, Collodi, Montevettolini, Vinci, San Miniato and San Gimignano.
They are in fact all small beatiful medieval villages that maintain unchanged the atmosphere of the most ancient Tuscany traditions.
The huge Villas of the Lucchesia, where history and elegance interlace to the testimonies of the most authentic Tuscany culture or the graceful hamlet of Collodi, known all over the world as the village of Pinocchio, where over the historical center the Villa Garzoni is set, in a beautiful position on a hillside edge.
