Hotels Sestriere

The locality of Sestriere rises up between the Susa and Chisone valleys at 2035 meters of altitude on the Piedmont Alps in the vicinity of France, it is a world famous winter station that boasts a huge number of tracks either for cross-country than alpine skiing.
The village name is Colle di Sestriere, a pass set at the feet of Sises mount, encircled by Banchetta and Fraiteve mounts, inserted in the Via Lattea a great skiing territory of the over 200 tracks connecting Sestriere to Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario, Cesana, Claviere and Montgenèvre in Fance, for an extension of over 400 Km with modern and fast systems and well kept tracks for every level of preparation. For the competitive sport it hosts every year the World Cup of Ski and Snow Board and recently it have been kept the XX Winter Olympic Games of Turin 2006. There is moreover the possibility to skate on ice and for passionate of cross-country skiing there is a 8 km ring.
Of a particular relief are also the tourist accommodation with good hotels, tourist villages and residence and also in summer Sestriere has various sport facilities as a modern athletics and soccer stadium, a golf club and the sport palace.
In the small villages near Sestriere, where the traditions have remained unchanged, as in Borgata, Champlas di Col and Janvier, rich in pastures and water sources visitors can discover the pleasure of living in a simple incontaminated nature.
