Deiva Marina is a pretty locality of the Riviera Ligure di Levante, in the province of La Spezia. It stretches in the valley of the Castagnola torrent, encircled by mountain reliefs as the San Nicolao mount. The village is easy to reach by car thanks to the exit gate on the A12 motorway, and by train on the Genoa-Rome line.

The small city is a famous bathing locality situated between Sestri Levante and the Cinque Terre, it receives in the summer season many tourists for its clean sea and sandy beaches. Deiva is divided in two parts: the ancient village, that it develops around the church of Sant'Antonio Abate, and the Marina, set overlooking the sea. The coastline landscape is characterized by the typical Mediterranean vegetation, while the sub-mount ones by olive groves, vineyards and woods.

Deiva Marina offers many paths to get to the nearby villages of Cinque Terre and Portovenere, to enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the sea. Beautiful creeks can be reach by boat, where quite small beaches and deep water for divers are set.
