Hotels Gabicce Mare

Gabicce Mare is a small municipality in the province of Pesaro. The town overlooks the Adriatic Sea just at the border between Marche and Emilia Romagna regions. The village is divided in two parts. The fraction Monte is set on a promontory and from its main square you can enjoy a pictoresque view on the whole coast. From here several paths depart that cross the natural park of San Bartolo, perfect for relaxing walks immersed in nature. The modern part of the city stands along the coast and is characterized by hotels, residences and private flats for rent.

Gabicce Mare is a seaside resort well known for its long sandy beach, ideal especially for families with children. In fact in the area there are also small rocky coves with deep seabed, much appreciated by those who practise scuba divings. In addition to the sea the village boasts a lively nightlife, thanks to its many clubs that in summer are always very busy. In the streets of the centre are often organized festivals and events, notably the "Stella Maris", devoted to the traditions of fishermen of this region.

A few kilometres south of Gabicce Mare there is the fraction of Marina di Vallugola, with its touristic port capable of accommodating up to 150 boath. In ancient times here was the roman city of Valbruna, which according to tradition, was submerged by the waters of the sea. In fact on the seabed were found several finds of that time. Nowaday Gabicce combins modern facilities with its old tradition of fishing village, and this gives the village a particular fascination.
